This family is full of energy and love, and it so easy to capture it. I photographed them last summer and it was amazing to see how much these girls have grown!

This family is absolutely cute, especially little Alexander! It was a typical Canmore day, with a little bit of clouds, a little bit of sunshine and the threat of moisture in the air, but we played around in Riverside Park and got some pretty great photos. Alexander is going to be quite the photographer when he grows up, he was playing with my camera and got a few decent photographs of his parents!

This weekend I had the honour of photographing my Uncle's wedding to the woman of his dreams. This wedding was a very special melding of two very wonderful families (I am only a little biased) and the whole day was beautiful and full of laughter and music. This was the first time I have witnessed a Doukhobor ceremony and I loved that it seemed more intimate since everyone in both the families are involved in the union.

There will be more photos to follow as soon as I recover from a the weekend and the long drive (we saw six bears and a moose among the wildlife during our travels!) as well as some next weekend when we do our Canmore photo session!

Today we made the long and scenic drive out to Nelson for my uncles' wedding! I am very excited that he asked me to be the photographer, especially seeing how beautiful it is here. The wedding is tomorrow so look forward to seeing some photos of the bride and groom this weekend!
