Over the next few months I am planning on slowly changing my business over to my new name! Everything will stay the same (same great service and same beautiful photos) and I am going to do everything possible to make the transition as easy as I can! But, hopefully by the new year, Meg VanderLee Photography will officially be Meg Boorman Photography!!!!

I have been looking forward to this wedding all year! Last year I photographed the wedding of Michelle's sister Amanda and I fell in love with their family.

Michelle looked so stunning (Ronnie wasn't so bad himself!) and they had a beautiful day. After a relaxing morning of preparations they had a lovely ceremony at St Anne's followed by a yummy dinner and heartfelt speeches at the Chiefs and Petty Officers Mess.

There are so many photos that I haven't even gotten through them all, but here is a sneak peak for the bride before she flies off to Jamaica tonight!

I was so excited to head back to the mountains again this summer to photograph Lia and Rene's wedding. They had such a beautiful day for a wedding and we made the most of it, begining with photos at the Banff hoodoo's before heading to the cascade gardens (which are so beautiful and full of color this time of year!)

After a quick lunch they had a very spiritual ceremony at the riverside gazebo and then we headed off to the Bison for some amazing food. Lia's aunt in Indonesia made all her jewlery as well as her bouquet and bouteneers using swarovski crystals and not only were they beautiful but they had the greatest "disco ball" effect!

This lovely family absolutely made my day. Little Connor has the biggest brightest smile I have ever seen (and a wave to rival the queen)! I had a lot of fun this afternoon trying to capture that smile and we got some great photos!

One of my favorite things about summer is the flowers. We are in Alberta visiting family and I couldn't help myself but run out and take a few photos after a rainy afternoon. These amazing flowers absolutely fill my sisters front yard; aren't they beautiful?!
