New Toy!
I have been drooling over a certain lens for years, and I finally got the chance to purchase it!!! So yesterday I dragged my friend Sara out to Beacon Hill Park to play with my new lens.

Erin & Nate!
Erin and Nate are getting married this summer and I am very excited to be a part of their day! We met this morning for a typical Vancouver Island photo shoot; I had expected the rain, but I was super excited for the coating of fog that added a little bit of magic.
We met up at Chemainus Lake where they like to take their dog to frollick and made use of all the natural greenery for some fun photos. These two have such a great chemistry and that always makes my job easy.

Photography for a great cause!
If you have some free time on Feburary 13th you should head down to the Velox Rugby Club for a gala fundraiser being held for Haiti relief. This event will include a silent auction with many great items (you can even bid on a portrait session with me!), live music, food and drinks.
Tickets are $25 and all the money raised will go to Free the Children for both emergency work and long term care for the many residents of Haiti.
If you are interested please let me know, tickets went on sale today, and I can put you in touch with the right people to purchase them.

Stay tuned tomorrow for some fun engagement portraits!
Ash!
I first met Ash almost a year ago when he was just a bun in the oven. He is really the most adorable little man and he was full of smiles all afternoon! I had so much fun with this little man!

A New Year...
The start of the new year has been busy! I have been working on new business cards, planning some amazing projects for the new year and, unfortunately, saying goodbye to my husband for a few months and dealing with a very sick cat.
There will be lots of fun photos showing up on the blog soon, in the meantime here is a photo of Andrew and I taking advantage of the sunshine shortly after christmas!
